Front suspension
Can anyone suggest why my 1971 Beetle 1300's front suspension leaks like it does? How does one fix it?

Re: Front suspension
There should only be grease inside your suspension beams, which might ooze rather than leak. What is leaking out of your suspension?

Re: Front suspension
At least there is something to leak out of the front suspension...or ooze as Fig so eloquently mentioned......May need a clean up and then re-grease and see where it goes from there?
It sure as hell looks like 30years worth of grease on that portion of the beam. Not always people favorite place to clean a bus or beetle etc.
