I don't know if anyone else has noticed that car batteries seem to have doubled in price over the past year. I've recently seen imported lead acid 6-volt batteries advertised around R3,000! So this ad caught my eye; not sure if the pictured battery will fit under a Beetle rear seat, but the price is the same as I paid for 6V batteries 5 years ago.
