Refurbished EMPI 34mm EPC Carbs for sale. *SOLD*

Hi,

I am ordering some replacement jets for my Weber Carbs in the UK which replaced a pair EMPI EPC's I bought 6 months ago. They ran perfectly but then started leaking through the shafts.

* UPDATE * Saw Dave a FFR today, who says they shouldn't leak and the shafts are pretty good. problem is most likely flooding\needle and seat settings. So I've reset the needles and float height, and fitted new Jets including F67 emulsion tubes, 55 idles, 150 mains and 170 airs. Should be good to go.

I want R 3 000-00 for them both. All you need is Manifolds and Filters and a Linkage system, I believe Dave has stock.

Hi Alan

You are spot on for those 34's. Just ensure that the kit has the correct needle valve size as below.

The 34 ICT was developed for single use on a Bedford vans in the UK, and all the carbs supplied are jetted for this, not for a VW beetle.
The jets as supplied are;
idle jet 52
main jet 130
air corrector jet 160
emulsion tube F78
needle valve 175

The recommended jets for a stock 1600 single/twin port are
idle jet 55
main jet 150
air corrector jet 170
emulsion tubes F3/F6
needle valve 125-140 * very important*

Hi Muds,
yes these carbs "can" be 100% perfect if a new owner wants them.. I need to get an offer to buy before I place orders for Service Kits and jets in the UK. I'll be bringing some Jets and stuff back form my own Webers, but if no one wants these, then I won't bother to refurb them, I'll just turf them onto a shelf as long term junk.

PS. these are the same I bought from that pal of yours.. Once I had installed the correct jets, they were ROCK SOLID, until they started to leak on the shafts. So Will get Dave at FF to re-bush them if someone wants them, and then refit brand new Service kits and new jets.

* UPDATE *. Did an update to the original post. 3 K as is, ready to go with new Jets installed.
