I've heard of a Pajero that has a beetle body on it somewhere in SA. Could this be it?

Its very possible. It looks 4x4 ish. It seems to a regular here.

There was a blue one for sale on olx awhile ago. and then there is an Oval with a V8 in aswell for R90.000
