Welcome!!Hellchops wrote:hi all
i just registered on this forum... i have a keen love for old VW's. i hope to one day be the owner of a few! there are two at the top of my hit list: type 3 squareback and a split screen (or bay) van. i will be very happy to get hold of either one first. looking for one that is runnig ok but maybe has a tatty exterior etc. i love 100% original (or refurb'd) classic cars... but i also really love a good rat! so "rat" (due 2 funds) will prob be where i start this journey![]()
i was at cars in the park a few months ago and really loved all the air-cooled's that i saw. i snapped some pics and posted a thread you'll prob see some of ur cars there![]()
here's my daily ride, '97 Caddy. my pride and joy. click here for full thread
'97 caddy. only mods are the one's that you can see![]()
i am also registered on the VW Club forum, but i'll spending a lot of time here now too![]()
a mate of mine started our VW "crew"...hahaha. we call it The Highway Collective go check it out.
chat soon

Type3s are cool

Just ask the guys who own them

If it's too low, you're too old

Hi all
New recruit here. I have just bought a '64 odd VW Splitty. Had her reconditioned by a guy up in JHB. Did a bum job but that's for another thread. Looking forward to chatting with you lads to see if you can help me fix her up. I am a complete novice, and so will need my hand held the entire journey.
