Karma's big big sale - updated V 3.0 last few items remain

Post by karmakoma »

I cleaned out the garage last week, and was shocked, embarrassed, and also pleasantly surprised at all the stuff I found.

Since I won't/don't have a need for a lot of it, time to sell some.

If I don't list a price, make me a reasonable offer, we all have an idea of what these things go for :D

Without further ado:

Type 3 steering wheel in reasonable condition, - sold

Rechromed Type 3 bumpers, pretty good condition:

Image

Image

Type 3 FRONT windscreen, yes, I know I should perhaps hang on to this, so this is really for an enthusiast that needs it to complete a restore, and priced accordingly: R2500 - Reserved

Collection of 4 good condition Beetle Hubcaps - R600 - Sold Jolas

and then an assortment of other hubcaps, R50 each or make me an offer for the lot, from poor to average condition. - Sold Sean

Brand new Setrab oil cooler: - Sold Tony Z

6V beetle wiper motor, not working, but I am sure the right person can get it going - R50: - sold James

Type 3 wiper motor - 12V, turns out mine is working, :-) , so don't need this one - R250 ? :

Image

Mercedes B Class 17" rim, went through a pothole, was X-rayed and repaired, but I never used it (couldn't wait for the repair so bought a new rim and then sold the car) ,so no idea how good or bad the repair was, therefore only R250.

Image

What looks like Citigolf armrests - for free if someone wants them, just come fetch

Image

Varga Kombi brake cylinders, new, been sitting on my shelf (dry , indoors) for a few years, but still look basically brand new: - Sold

Set of new brake pads, fits golf 4 rear amongst others - R250 ?

Image

Two late type 3 doorhandles?

Image

Various refurbished type 3 brake parts, from what I can gather - reserved

Early beetle bumper set, pic flatters slightly: - sold James

Rechromed beetle bumper overriders, some with, and some without the mounting bracket, R100 with , R50 sans bracket.
only 3 more available

Image

VW BUS nose badge - sold

Some more freebies, old broken 58 beetle visor and more citigolf - "hubcaps" - home found

Bamboo beetle parcel tray - good condition, with mounting hardware: - sold James

Classic driving lights, unknown origin, one glass broken but their charm is at least worth R150

Image

Image

Type 3/golf? headlight:

Image

Complete headlight set - looks like late beetle, lenses, rings, buckets:

Image

Beetle headlight ring with a rusty bracket

Image

Two early (sloped) beetle headlight lenses, late 50's early 60's - sold James

Late type 3 rear lights, cracked:

Image

Late type 3 rear reflectors:

Image

Late type 3 rear lights, better condition - sold

Late beetle indicators:

Image

Polo (Playa/Classic era) indicators:

Image

Type 3 indicators, good condition:

Image

Another set of Type 3 indicators, basically brand new: -sold Gerhard

Set of Beetle Snowflake taillights: - sale pending

Image

And another set, original patina, physically in good nick: - sold James

Original Type 1 Beetle motor - 1100 , bought it a few years ago as running and complete, stored in my garage since then, so never actually used, exhaust rusty - R3500 ? - Sold Jolas

Golf toolkit? :

Any fair offers considered.

Hi Paul

I have just started searching around for parts, so please excuse the prices I may be offering--it is not my intention to insult you. I have recently acquired a 1960 convertible, and it needs lots of stuff. I intend to take it back to as close to original as far is possible.

1.Patina "snow flake" lights = R 1 000.
2.Early sloped lenses = R 500.
3.Bamboo shelf = R 1 500.
4.Early bumpers = R 2 000. ( Are these salvageable?)
5. 6 volt wiper motor = R 500.

If you wish to counter, please let me know.

With kind regards

James Hinton

All fair offers considered, and this is about getting projects done. All items yours as listed James, except the 6v wiper motor, it's not working, so if you take the rest of the items as listed you can have it. I do think the bumpers can be salvaged, the front, top, angled section took a ding at some stage but is certainly useable.

Also a set of type 3 seats, both front and rear, upholstery in horrid condition, but frames are useable. If you need, come fetch, one orange cheetah should do (I have stored them so long , I have to sell them for something for fear of getting my arse kicked if I give them away :-) )

VW Oldie, looks like it's a done deal for the patina blue snowflakes, so I only have the chrome set left, I wouldn't accept more than R800 for them, they have a few small dents and road rash. So need some work.

Harry, R75 for the ring, rusty bucket for free :-)

Let me know if happy gents.
