Seeing as I have been lurking around here, I thought I should start a rebuild thread on my rust bucket a.k.a the bomber. Started out with my boss arriving at the offices with one of his family members Beetle. Being the idiot I am (should have left 5 min earlier) I have this personality disorder where every damn car and bike I see needs to be saved......
Cue the music.
What started out as just a simple " oh ill just change the bonnet and fender and drive it like that, has turned in to late nights and loooong weekends. Keep in mind tho, im not building a show car, but a reliable daily driver. Having had a Bug or 2 way back in the day the more I work on it, the more I fall back in love (although my hands and back arent on the same page).
Ill let the pics tell the story so far.

When the addiction strikes, we can but only buckle down....
Nice work so far, may you have many late nights and joy.
