I am planning to fit a golf engine in my buggy its a golf 1800 with 2.2 combie pistons I would ptrefer to fit my radiator in the rear any body had success with this

I am totally averse to what you're trying to do but, for interest sake, if you put the radiator in the rear, how are you going to get air to flow over the cooling fins?

Where is ZA would be the location of your home town
if U are in JHB area then go see Pierre at Vdubtech
he has one with that exact same conversion and it runs just fine

Thanks will visit them I have seen a few with the radiator in the back we fitted a 1600 golf In my friends buggy with the 1200 box 15 tyres rear 14 in front his radiator is In front no over heating problems plenty power but I prefer the radiator in the rear although every body says it doesn't work

I am also selling my current 1600 single port motor for R5500 complete and still running in my buggy want to use the money for the conversion if anyone is interested

Put the engine in the parts for sale section it might go a bit faster
