Are they wider than a standard Beetle rim and will they take 195's

If they are stock then they will be 4.5j.
Not advisable to use a 195 on a 4.5j wheel
If it's too low, you're too old

Thanks what can I use the 195s on as I have a new set of 195s and I have a 72 Beetle that needs tyres any advice please.

Judging by the pic, they're standard.
