1977 1600L Beetle freshening up
So I bought this 1977 for my wife about 5 months ago. I decided not to do a complete restoration as she is in quite decent order still. She has been standing for the past 3 months getting brakes, suspension and some wiring issues sorted out.

The engine was removed to repair some oil leaks. I then had the covers sprayed the same color as the door, this really gives a clean look to the whole engine bay.
I also went back to the original air cleaner as it had a pancake filter installed.
As I´m working in Brazil, I came across a set of newer spec tail lights. Decided to buy it, I will post some photos as soon I fitted them. Also got a set of yellow headlights.
Progress is slow but we are not in a hurry, yet.
