Re: 1970 beetle
As long as a piece of string ...
There is so much that goes into ascertaining the value of an old car. Show us lots of detailed pics and maybe we'll have something to work with. It's impossible to get a true value without seeing and driving the car.
Off the top of my head I'd say somewhere between R15k-R25k, but that's just a thumbsuck without having seen the car.

1970 beetle
The three big things I look at are:
-body condition...paint, rust etc
-interior condition
-engine condition, is there end play you can feel or see. This is a major thing as a new long block is a considerable amount.
Its best if you can view it yourself and not only go by photos.
O, I forgot, it also have to have papers.

Re: 1970 beetle
If I zoom in, there seems to be some kind of repair on the bottom of the doors?
If it’s rusty, no more than 15k max. If engine is also suspect, 9k max

Re: 1970 beetle
A 1970 Beetle is most desirable for me among the '70s Beetles, so depending on condition it should demand a higher price in comparison to say, a '75 in similar condition. I would say R40k max if the overall condition is good.
