Beetle front hood rubber
I need a new rubber for the front hood. Anyone bought this from Autostyle. Do they fit properly and are they good quality ?

Re: Beetle front hood rubber
At that price Ill rather go for the Autostyle rubber if it is moulded with the retaining tabs where it hooks into the body at the bonnet hinges

Re: Beetle front hood rubber
ProAuto Rubber has the moulded rubber but I found it was too long for my 1971 Beetle. Along the window it is fine but I had to cut out a piece at the front apron. I alerted this to them but I don't know whether they fixed it with subsequent batches. I would also go for the Autostyle rubber provided they fit without cutting.

I think I saw some the other day at one of these trailer spare places. Cannot remember the price.

Re: Beetle front hood rubber
Judging from the pic on their website it isn't a one piece, so you have to cut the front bit to size.
