Thanks Herman,...trying to keep original butwill keep in mind.
Tried pratley's this time, leaving it for 24hour to see if it will hold. Got to be delicate, if using too much and it seeps onto the shaft it will be tickets!,....turns for parking lights and then a pull for main beam.
Sorry for hijacking your post Haans. In 1975 I came down in one from Bulawayo heading to Durban and it took us 3 days of hard driving to get to Durban and 4 days to get back so half of our holiday was spent driving. But never had a once of problems with it not even a puncher, them good old days where great.
Yip Terry ,...the good old days !!!!,....dont make them like that anymore !!
This particular one is still fairly stock,....barring the 1500 pre crossflow motor, for a bit of kick !,....additional electric fan for the heat and thats it!
Best thing to do is go register on the FERROCSA forum. Some spares do come up from time to time... spcifically this one today. Might cost you a whole dash to get the switch tho: http://www.fordescortclubsa.com/phpBB3/ ... 36&t=14227
