2.0 Golf engine and box-Sold
Hi all, I have a 2.0l fuel injected Golf engine in my Bay window. Running like a Swiss watch. Of course I'm converting back to aircooled, so make me an offer for full turnkey solution, including gearbox and management system. By turnkey, I mean, once you installed it in your car, you can turn the key and go

Re: 2.0 Golf engine and box
will that work in a T3 just after the engine and adaptor plate if it bolts straight in T3.Can you give me a idea of the price as it is now with gearbox then I can split it and sell the box later.

Re: 2.0 Golf engine and box
Yes it will but in T3 you would need to raise the engine compartment to accommodate as is. Alternative would be to get the adapter plate that allows a slanted motor but you would also need special sump

Re: 2.0 Golf engine and box
Guys, I am thinking around 30K for complete solution. You install it yourself though. I will ask Pierre what he thinks a good price is.
This will be:
Complete engine and gearbox
Engine hanger and mounting
radiator cluster with fans
water bottle...hell, Ill even through in the heat gauge
5l of spring water
