Good day to all
What would the symptom of a weak oil pressure control valve be? I know what happens when the pressure relief valve sticks open, but am not familiar enough with the oiling system to know how a weak pressure control spring (the shorter of the two in a dual-relief case) impacts the oiling system.

If the spring do not keep it tight to pressure

Yes if it do not open you will have excessive oil pressure that could pop the oil cooler seals etc.
