Mazda 323 clutch cable bracket under the dash broke used vice grips to hold the bracket to under the dash. That was like that for years then they stole it.
The other one was a truck I had to get back to town and the driver wondered off the road and the diff with a mild steel sump ended up with a hole in it and the diff oil drained out. I took oil but could not do much. Then the driver took out his sunlite soap the green one and he shaved the soap made it into a paste with a bit of water stuck it on then smothed it out with a bit of water and stayed like that like that for about a week.
Then same thing radiator was leaking water stuck the soap to the hole again it ran for months no problems.
