Re: Indicator switch 71 bay
Keep in mind that USA vehicles sometimes continued to share the rear brake lights with indicators until at least early 70's. So their wiring diagram might differ from "rest of the world" versions. Especially the way they interconnect/cross-connect jumpers on back of switch might be "USA specific/ non rest of the world".
They may have 4 individual indicator wires coming from switch, we have 2.

Staying Aircooled is so much nicer.
Do'nt assume anything- (While doing fault-finding).

Re: Indicator switch 71 bay
The black/green/white wire is interrupted indicator power feed from flasher unit pin 49a, also going to hazard switch. (Some diagrams shows first part of this wire from flasher unit as blue). This feeds to "electrical middle" of two-way switch inside switch assembly.
Via hazard switch, black/green, feeds right side indicators, white/black feeds left.

Re: Indicator switch 71 bay
Mine had only the 5 wires... 3 for indicators and 2 for dimmer circuit. The full beam is not sticking on, but I suspect that must be a relay somewhere else...

Re: Indicator switch 71 bay
The dim bright relay must have power from your lights main beam switch to stay on, if this is off, it will only flash your high beam and go off when you let go.
Your flasher relay feeds your Indicator stalk, and also bridged to your emergency hazards switch.
The Indicator lights are also bridges to both stalk and HSw, the lamps are open circute on your HSw when off.
But bridge all 4 corner lights together when on, so making your hazards work
When your hazards are off, the ind. stalk switches from left / center off / right lamps making them work.
Hope this helps
