ghia safety belts ?
Yes,.....slowly waking from hibernation.!!!
there are 23 Ghia's + on this forum,......someone must have fitted safety belts to the front seat ?
please advise,.... or better pic's,.....do not want to re-invent the "wheel",.. but sure can use some ideas from others. Have got some ideas in mind,... but then again a few more ideas can push me over the edge and get going.
a bit scared of the "retractable" type,... might smash the rear QTR window, so thinking of a 3-point system that is "adjustable". doubt it if a '60 model will have the mounting point on the chassis,...... so it's g'na be up with some carpeting and so forth.
Wife is not "comfortable" in the "tjor" without these things
Any "nudging" in a direction will be appreciated
thanks in advance Haans

Thanks,...you read my mind Herman. Have been googling.
Seem to be the "prefered" method.
Now for the procurement process to start. Saw nice cream coloured on "E-bay" but no delivery in South of Africa !!
Well back to Midas or Autozone
Regards Haans

ghia safety belts ?
Haans, I use Aramex Global Shopper for smallish things like your safety belts.
Works quite well and is usually a little cheaper than direct courier.
AGS has shipping addresses in about all the major international economies which you use to send your purchases to and with your account number and registered address in SA are then forwarded to you.
https://www.aramexglobalshopper.com/en/home
You need to have an invoice which you upload onto the AGS website when requested and pay the applicable vat and duties and Aramex courier fee.
Just don’t have multiple parcels with more than one invoice sent as one package from a single supplier.
myus.com is another only for US and they offer consolidation & repacking of multiple packages. Their US zip code is tax free, so you don’t pay US tax, but you will still pay SA tax.
They have a UK service as well. I haven’t used these yet, but for a larger “birthday present” it might work out well.
The exchange rates are just awful at the moment.

Special Industrial Supplies is an SA company that seems to manufacture/import safety belts.
They also sell products in the SA 4x4 market.

Re: ghia safety belts ?
I have a set of belts, with brackets, which were bought for my bug, but never installed.
If you're keen, PM me. The bug's sold. Happy to sell the parts.

Re: ghia safety belts ?
I've offered Haans my set of new aviation-style belts, with brackets.
Haans is looking for retractable belts, preferably colour-matched to his car.
