Required: White VW Beetle for wedding

To anyone out there who knows a person that owns a white VW Beetle in Cape Town or surrounding areas.

My only daughter is getting married in March next year and of all the cars out there her dream wedding car is a white VW Beetle. I need to get the ball rolling now, because March will be upon us soon. The road to the wedding venue is gravel from the main road between Worcester and Robertson. It will only be used for 3-4km. I suggest loading the car on a trailer and towing it to the venue to be used as wedding car. Afterwards to load it back on the trailer and towing it back to it's location. I'm prepared to do this at my expense. But I just need a willing samaritan, who is willing to share his/her/they/them VW Beetle for approx. 1hour and make my baby girl's wedding dream come true.

Please provide contact details and price for renting the car.

Our wedding in 2008 was an original green coloured pre-elephant tail light beetle and we absolutely loved it!!

In my mind, there is nothing wrong with choosing an “odd” wedding car…it is what makes it unique and memorable for the bride and groom.

We found the beetle by chance while going about a normal day driving in our suburb and I approached the driver with our request and a few days later a deal was made to borrow the beetle for our wedding day.

My beetle is not white, but maybe have a look on Facebook for SA beetle air cooled groups and even on Marketplace…maybe the seller/buyer has more than one beetle or can put you into contact with someone.
