I spoke to Dunlop directly and they say there is possibly a factory in Zim that still produces old model vehicle tires but no details of this

I see Autostyle has a 165R15 for R1395 each. Brand is Vitour. That’s the only one I could find in South Africa. If you google Vitour it shows they’re a tyre manufacturer in Athlone, Cape Town.

Hi 73

Will that be the closest to the original?

Yes. I’m also in need of a set for my ‘71 1300DP. I’m going to look around soon.

Found a set of 15 inch tires with a go faster white stripe on the sides.

Does anyone know what the length of threads should be as I had to change wheel bolts due to the different seating on the chamfer.

The new bolts I got at flat four are way long so I need to machine them off at work.

The thread length is 19mm. I’d suggest that you return those bolts and buy the right ones at Goldwagen, code A657. Check their online partsfinder website.

Anyone that can recommend an alignment place that can still accommodate the old beetle and adjust kingpin shims according to camber ?

I also need to replace the rear suspension bushing which is squeaking like hell and try reset the rear torque arm timing as last time I messed it up and it's not sitting right between left and right rear.

you are not going to find anyone who does that anymore. You'll have to do it yourself.
