IMPI, mate, you need more nookie in your Life...you read too many VW manuals. ;)
"Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car, and oversteer, the rear.
Hp is how fast you hit the wall, and Torque is how far you take the wall with you."

well, my friend just down the road has got disk brakes on his 1303. But it is not standard. They were retro fit from a 1303S. So they do exist. TUV approved means nothing here. NOTHING that is aftermarket fitted qualifies for "Non-homolugated" (trust me THAT is a real bitch).
411 disc will fit straight onto 1303 spindles as would golf and opel rear discs so the linkpin type kit available in SA is not needed. I would go for the 411 stuff as the disc is much bigger.Use Golf calipers with a custom made mount

IMPI, this is good news. I am not sure how easily 411 disks would be available here, but I will have a look-out. Can you confirm which Opel(Vauxhaul in the UK) and/or Golf rear disks?

That CSP kit is NICE, but I am not sure I agree with the price.... :? And to get it imported from the US, with my luck, I will be taxed to death by import taxes......

Forgot you were in france.
Regular beetle discs also fit
the golfs and opels 4 wheel bolt models all share the same bearing sizes and some older Audis too.
