clean the threads inside and out, without getting anything into the block that might cause damage.
Use a good thread sealant on the threads and insert - make sure there is no oil. Its a bit expensive, but I have a tube of Loctite PTFE fluid (liquid plumbers tape - liquid thread tape whichever you call it) and that stuff works amazingly well without locking the thread.
there are ways to seal it without taking it out. I am not going to share them, because its bush-mechanics and only to be used when absolutely no other options exist
Then again, you could even make it worse... if its broken and beyond repair, try this, if it might be fixable, then do it right

That is not the oil pressure valve. It is a plug that was put into the case after they drilled that hole at the factory. It is the suction side of the oil pump. On the other side of that hole is the oil pickup tube inside your case. If it is leaking oil it is definatly leaking air while you are driving. fix it right away. It is ruining your oil pump and bearings. If it is stuck use an impact screwdriver to remove it. The type you hit with a hammer. it will come out but be careful. Do not use teflon tape. usually you can replace the plug with a brass pipe plug. just clean the threads and tightn it. No sealant unless it is absolutly necessary. whatever you put on thet plug will get to your pump and bearings.
