People how does one check the power out , the busses IDIOT light still burns brightly and i dont have my comlpete guide to vw for the complete IDIOT, B.A.B

a glowing charge light could be a loose fuse... I got it sometimes... ran my finger over the fuses and bobs your uncle (if you like)..... but if its a glowing brightly its propably a loose connection somewhere.. the charge light works on a "balance" system

search samba... polarise generator, if gen ok and light still on - replace regulator

BOB. What year is your Combi? I will send you the wireing diagram and the A-Z of it. Just remember, you guys are in the southern hemisphere and things turn backwards... :shock: Well I suppose that is better than here. We are on the equator.... Nothing moves. :drunks:
