Trust me I tried all sorts of shit wires, knifes, pliers etc. that stuff is so brittle that it frustrates, the best results was a flame, try with one of those Zipo lighters and turn up the flame will get the same result as the torch, trust me it is the most effective system.
For what it's worth, ignorance has no limits ......
