Re: New Members - Introduce yourself..
Hi everybody,
I'm a VW fan who lost the plot for a while when I decided to sell my 2 Beetles back in 1996. I'm still kicking myself about that. After realising my mistake I bought a VR6 Jetta in 2002. I still have it & love that car. Mid 2007 I bought a T25 Double Cab Syncro that had been built by Syncro Hospital in Pretoria. This my baby and he is called Baksteen, due to the aerodynamics and the petrol consumption. I am planning to build a nice German look Beetle and a high riding Baja as soon as I can convince the wife to get rid of her car. I'm dreaming of a Bay window bus with dropped suspension and a hot engine as well, (wife and finances permitting of course).
I came across a link to this site while looking for info on superchargers and Vdubs and thought it might be a good place to chat & get help from people with the same passion for VWs. Maybe I'll see some of you at some of the shows that are listed.
Regards,
Bernard

Re: New Members - Introduce yourself..
Hey people.
I'm new to this forum. Have a love for all things VAG. Currently drive a 1991 MK2 GTi 1.8 8v + vat... I've also fallen in love with the idea of a stock looking Bug packing something like a 13bT or maybe an ABF. But before I can even consider starting a project like that I have some things to do to the MK2 first
