1: Thanks, it was difficult to choose the right color. It had to look classic. I imported a set of doorcards and seatcovers. It's a velvet green and the doorcards has some cream.2BugMe wrote:Hey Didi,

2: Johan Stander now lives on his farm between Bela-Bela and Thabazimbi and still builds engine's. He built a 1600 for my 1977 Beetle SP as well as my 30hp engine for my Oval. Contact him on 0828926246 if you need a engine rebuild.
3: Jan Pretorius 012 653 7436 or jannie@ladacenturion.co.za
4: The body is nearly finished (as you can see) All the parts are cleaned and ready to go back on. I still need to chrome the bumpers and doorhandles. The engine is also rebuilt and a spit gearbox is waiting to replace the the later sfas box. I need to sort out the floorpan as well.

A quick update. The roof is sprayed and I decided to paint the petrol tank the same color as the roof. Still sanding. Nothing is polished yet.The body looks super straight.

That's a left-hand drive. Been looking to this thread for a long time and only noticed it now.
