Same here, except with an MP3 FM modulator, also hidden :|
If it's too low, you're too old

Modulator is even cheaper...........only thing I don't like about them is sometimes that bad FM reception.

I would of liked to put in my old motorola radio in my speedster and then run a modulator with a MP3 shuttle mounted somewhere hidden.

modulators are K#ck. I am so sick of them and this issue with radio stations broadcasting on their frequencies....

Nice Idea I saw on pimp my ride the other night, hidden radio, with a period radio in the normal radio spot. (Think it was an 8 track, before my time)

The Ipod connectors (beefed up ones) are then mounted inside the 8-track, right at the back of the cassette holder. One 8-track casette is then modified to hold the ipod, so when you "plug" in the casette, you are actually plugging in the ipod. Looks nice, works great and keeps that vintage look. Thought it was a great idea.

Will definately try it with my beetle when I get to the radio.

There are so many ideas right now that we're spoilt for choice.

But that one sounds killer...............
