Its so much nicer to swop parts than to buy them

When you need the std beetle stuff just buzz me are you intending on putting discs on the back as well

agree Bugger ! Yep wanna run disc front an rear the back one wont b a problem but thinking of using combi front hubs and just matching a bearing to the type2 stub axel :roll: any ideas ???
My biggest fear is that my wife sells my cars for what i told her they cost !!

I`m going to fit the trailing arms of the bay to make it ball joint and then the std bay disks work on their own hubs

But I sow a conversion bearing the other day when I did the w/bearings in my DC microbus

Just got my wheels !!! And it looks like the std microbus disc/hub assemble will have enough "meat" to handle the 5 stud 130 pcd porche pattern im stripping the front suspention tommorrow to fit the beam adjusters and wil send the type 2 stub and combi hub to have a caliper bracket made and find bearings to fit there, wil have to cut the combi disc/hub about a mil cos it just pops out the centre cap on the porche wheel , but it looks like we have a winner here now to find an adaptor from 4stud 100pcd to 5 130 for the rears and we will have brakes !
Also got the dry sump pump and container !! :hangloose:
Bugger just wanna sort out the front before i tackle the rear will give you a shout to organize the "exhange"

Where did you get your dry sump tank and how does it look I want to change mine on my buggy

The dry sump tank is alu one that was made, did some fidling with it the weekend and its gonna fit snug in the quater panel in the rear wil have to cut a hole for filling but it'l all work out tank takes about 7litres i would guess .
My biggest fear is that my wife sells my cars for what i told her they cost !!
