- Carb Options -

Post by virek »

Hello,

I think its time I get another carb for my bug - the current one really looks beaten up and is missing alot of bits and pieces :( Also the cold start is not to grand and the idle is unstable - especially when coming to a stop street or decline... it seems to flood and want to die off.

GW in PMB have the 34pict carb for 1k - should I get this and get it over with or do I have other options.

I dont mind a little more power but dont want to mod anything too much :hangloose:

Thanks

Thanks man, what do u mean about the sucking air? I did replace the gasket between the carb and manifold. There are little rubber joiners on the mani between the carb and head - maybe I will try replacing those as well.

Sometimes it almost dies off and just idles high like I have press the accelerator :?:

Thanks
