Can anyone explain the thinking behind this? I don't really understand the registration process, or why someone would want a numberless pan?

To me you're best off getting hold of a donor with RWC - then you can do pretty much anything you want and still have it legally on the road without a bunch of PT......

ImageHI BArry ,that was my plan ,to use a donor vehicle with papers ,but i decided to rather keep the beetle intact ,basically it just needs a good spray job and some assembling
