I don't have the kit number to hand, but I've never had any trouble sourcing them from Midas, etc. If your FLAPS can't help, then hit a bearing supplier.

The only problem I have found with the bearing kits is that the grease seal supplied is not the correct size, and the correct size seals are hard to find.

I will look up kit, bearing and seal numbers this weekend.

Sorry, forgot to check this weekend; it'll have to wait for the weekend again.

What do you mean by "late model Fleetline"?

Strictly, Fleetline refers ONLY to the throwback Brazilian split buses built in SA in 1975, one year only.

If you're talking about the baysplit hybried that replaced the Fleetline from 76-78, I'm afraid I know almost nothing about them. They may use the same front wheel bearings and they may not.

I finally remembered to check my bearing kits this weekend.

Kit 179 (SKF bearings) is indeed the correct one for the front wheel bearings on a Fleetline. As I said above, the seal in the kit is incorrect, but the bearings are the ones you need.

I wrote the individual bearing and seal numbers down, but don't have them with me; I'll post them later.

If kit 179 is not right for your bus, then maybe your brakes have been modified. Do you have any detail pics?
