When buying sound deadener, buy the stuff that BMW and Merc uses, called Vibraseal, it's about 1/4 of the cost of dynamat and is also self adhesive and easy to work with.

just one q 4age would a petrol pump like that be enough for a turbo setup?
That pump is ok for up to 200 wheel kw. Petrol only, no methanol.

It is simply a container that will make sure that the fuel pump always receives fuel. The best position would be the spare wheel well in the nose. But then there's no space for a spare wheel.

The surge tank only needs to hold about 2lt.

Sorry for the hijack. FFF, where do you buy this Vibraseal? I was going to buy HOS sound deadening stuf but at R900/roll I'm thinking twice.

As T-Z said, stick with the original plans...

I'm really interested as to how your EFI system pans out. I will also be using a modified Golf dissy, with the same coil...
