Hello..
Is anyone else on here running dual Dell'Ortos? I'm getting a lot of overrun popping and heard some rumours that different emulsion tubes should cure this. Dawie was that you? I looked on samba but couldn't find it. Which emulsion tubes should I switch too from the standard Alfa setup? Mains have already been changed.
Dankie
Eben

I got the Dell handbook from Rui. But in there they didn't mention tube change either.

I can't help, but since you asked, Gill's bus is running dual 36 DellOrto's. They look very very similar to my 36 ICA Webers on the bug...

Re: Who else is running Dell'Ortos?
Eben,
Most of the problems that DRLA's have are related to clogged passages , jets and drillings Dell's suffer badly from corrosion from the petrol additives and substitutes we have in SA, so take them to bits and check them out carefully.
If you have the Dellorto Tech book , check out pages 71 to 82 .I am pretty sure that the info there will help you sort out the problem.
Only thing this book might not encompass is the "choke" (enrichening system). Ensure that the systems valves and springs are all in place and that the components are in good condition. If none of this systems components are in place, the drillings feeding it will probably have been blocked off.
Cheers
