That said, I like your ideas for the DC. This is going to be a kickass ride when it's done

Yes, my Grand dad had a 1988 626 SLI Hatchback and if I recall correctly, the seats were exactly the same...

Re: DC PROGRESS - BUSY WITH INTERIOR
no you do not see them around so much, i know of 1 in newcastle that is standing and the guy do not want to sell, but he also dio not have the $$ to fix it, and the best of all i know what the problem is , it is not a easy fix but it can and have been done before, that is why i like the 1987 model more than the 1985 to 1986 models

Re: DC PROGRESS - BUSY WITH INTERIOR
so to come back to the DC, progress is slow, got a gearbox from JHB, thanks to Pierre and Gerrit, gearbox came on Monday and then i notice the difrence in the gearselector position between that one and mine, thou both sits on the side, so the hunt was out to get a new gearshaft and gearshaft guide, after a strong day of ahrd looking and searching i got one gear shaft , but allias cant get the guide so i will be modifying it a bit.
