If the rain holds out-I can make more progress. This is the final coat on the fenders and engine lid.
Next weekend I'll start on the bonnet and the rest of the car, I'll leave the doors for last.

Re: Up-date on my progress
for sure....but thats the remains from 'flattening' the previous layer
you should see what our hands look like(thats right-my missuses is also rubbing,big-up to her for her patience and hard work)
that same yellow dry dust stains everything-but it'll be worth it in the end
i DEFINITELY take my hat off to anyone who can operate a spray-gun properly.
this is only the first time ever that i've even touched a spray-gun, but f@#k me its not easy--let alone all the sanding
so ja BIG UP to all the pro restorers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Up-date on my progress
I hear of all this wife helping out stuf with the rides ????? How the F*ck do you dudes get it right my wife will not set foot anywhere near any of my rides, I can only imagine what would happen if I tried to put her to work on one of them.

For what it's worth, ignorance has no limits ......

Car looks great!!!!
Secret to get misses helping, is to tell her it's good exercise and keeps you off the streets.....be careful though, first one left so had to replace with younger model!!!
