to the Variant and the AMC Pacer.
The front of the Variant looks like a 70s Corvette.
The idea of a 914 Variant has promise, a la BMW 2002 tii Touring, but that thing's just plain ugly.

the AMC Pacer's are now becoming a collectors item here, they get snapped up by the people in the know.
Don't argue with an idiot, people watching may not be able to tell the difference

OMG. Can someone say
FUGLY
I personally think if they at least kept the original 914 nose, it would've been an improvement, but I doubt if it would get past my "Fugly detector" !!
