Hope we finish around the same time and do a run....you might have to leave the handbrake on thought as my engine's totally standard :0)

Hi guys
Just a quick update on the bus i have decided to move the painting to the 8'th of november there are still some paint issues
and i want to make sure i have everything "lined" up for the assembly after paint.(I guess i have waited this long two weeks shouldnt make a difference) :( :(
My biggest fear is that my wife sells my cars for what i told her they cost !!

hey guys
Happy days !! We have painted the bus and last night finished the pin striping and airbrush work !! i have asked blitz to post some pics, so all thats left to do today/tommorow is finish of some spots on the two tone give it some clear coat then "key" it and then shoot the mat clear on top !! Thanks to my friend Willie from Galaxy customs and he's wife for helping us do this (we finished at 2am this morn) and thanks to Geoff from Advanced Auto Body in Centurion for the booth and keeping your shop open till 2 !! You are all great friends and thanks for helping me to chase a dream !!
There are quite a few pics so blitz will post as i get them downloaded enjoy :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Hi Ron/Gill
Yep i have all the goodies for the motor only thing to do is have brackets welded on the tank for the dry sump the rest is all there, sub is together and ballanced sleeves pistons heads all done i have to drop off the poly eurothane g/box mounts at willie's so he can build the "strap" for the gearbox and then we can put everything in the bus and start the turbo,water and cooler plumbing, as for the straight axel waiting for brackets that fit on the spring plates to be waterjetted and then thats done !! willie prinsloo did a stunning job to mod the 911 hubs and brakes for the fuchs to fit so happy days !
p.s i just bought a square back.......................................................... :wink:
