Well ok, Christmas may just get here a bit early this year. After threatening my painter with his spraygun, it seems things are starting to take shape!! The car will be back tomorrow after a scrutinizing session this afternoon showed a couple more areas of concern. All in all though, not looking too bad! :D

With a bit of polished ali!! It looks great, but does have a couple of stress cracks that can be seen!

Never mind the spots on the bonnet, just cutting paste over throw!

Happy to have gone with the red, i have to admit!!

All good lads, now just time to throw it all back together! Will keep you posted......

:drunks: :drunks: :drunks: :drunks: Happy days finally!!!!

From what I can see - that spray job looks really good! I can't wait to see it assembled. Don't want to tell you what to do, but a foto of that red machine on a green lawn would look stunning (sun shining you get the picture). I think it going to look so good!! :hangloose:

Spies Hecker, colour is Guards Red. There are 3 variations of it, but i can get the code if required. Same colour as the late 70's early 80's 911's

no rushing here, but needed to get an idea of what i'm working with!!

Have started making progress on the nose and a couple of other things..... looking better. It's amazing how many small things need to be done when you start reassembly. bit of grinding here, sanding there etc. Windscreen is on it's way from JHB, and my trim kit should be lying at Dave. Over-riders from the states....all good!!

The body itself, well..........now that the final coat is on, it's quite apparent that the stress cracks in the fibre are definitely there. The car will have to be polished again. Good thing i never spent more......all in all though, it should look good once complete :D (Note the clear indicator lenses... thanks to a Leyland Mini. I'll be looking for more of these if anyone has

And yes....i already put the assemblers scratch on the paintwork :jerkoff:
