Disc brakes were introduced in 8/70 for the 71 model year. The VIN will put an end to this speculation.
If the bus doesn't have the VIN on a plate behind the driver's seat, then you can find it stamped on the bodywork to the right of the engine.

Jelly bean showing off some new colours - well almost completed paint job. With some new bling and a few other accesories I'm picking up in the UK next week she will be on the road soon.

Yes, I managed to repair mine without touching your's. I also got the clock sorted out . Everything is sort of ready for re-assembly when I get back at the end of the month.

I already fixed the floor section . I was thinking of making a "cover plate" to bolt on to the front. I'm going to run a 240v circuit with 16 amp breaker in the bus as well - so just pull up in the camping spot and plug in. That plate will be housing the camping socket. --- still playing with some ideas.

Got most of my spares from the UK last week. Will hopefully pick up the rest next week.
Its time for re-assembly...
I was planning on starting with the door seal replacement ( Seal kit) and installing the wiper assembly but againts my initial plan decided on taking out all the windows. I'm glad to say that all the metal "lip" is rust free ( Puts that nagging feeling out of my mind)
The three quarter window pillars unfortuantely are rusted through and through - time for the sliding window option I think.

Now that you mention it...it does look like iron man . lol
Its a Mercedes champagne pearl (slighly darker than expected) and a Ruby pearl ( Fiat I think) . Needed something to macth the planned interior - will see how it ends up
