heat, heat, heat,
Engine management systems, knock sensors, blow off valves, dump valves, fuel injection, blow thru carbs, intercoolers, nightmare plumbing -----not quite "period " type mods. somehow more fitting for a watercooled motor !

I'm sure many of the samba visitors will know this one. Besides the boot lid that seems a bit erm-no, the rest is neat, fits in the engine bay nicely. In fact he said that he could of fitted the downpipe all within the engine bay if he cut the side sheet-metal a bit, that whole split is hawt.

I guess that the supercharger option is out then...

Rather Turbo it

or, a HUGE naturally aspirated Type 4 engine :smile:
