Took some more metal of the floor that I bought. I start to think it is easier to put new metal on than trying to use old metal. At this stage it is cutting and more cutiing to make things fit. Will get there slowly.

my heard goes out to you.....

but seriously, with your air compressor, you shouldnt be asking how much it will cost for someone else to sandblast.....
Look into something like this

Wow this is a nice project.... At least urs is complete.. not like mine....

When I priced Sand blasting they quoted me about R1200 for the sandblasting and R700 to primer.. That was without seeing the van..
But this is a place in JHB..

Here details if you want to check with then..

Hmmm.. those sand blasting kits look interesting.. What else is need, beside compressor.. Where does the sand go into, etc...

I think you dunk the flexible hose into the sand and use the gun like a spray gun

Kuven, was thinking along those lines, here they are between 3 and 5, closer to the 5 mark. Need a heap of grit and then a place were you can make a mess.

Tony, thought about it last nigt and will give it a shot, just the time factor, if get dirty then it must be worth while not just one hour at a time. :)
