Hi Mark,
Still have not found the "Caps Lock" key I see............
Yes its good to get some progress, and yes both mig and tig are used for different areas.
Only using Green Panels where the profile is dominant, otherwise such as with the beetle just forming steel to fit.
The edges are not overlapped, it just looks like it, but are 1st tacked, then shaped, then spot tacked to fill.
Then ground to flat.
Still hoping to have both ready by end of December break.
See you getting into things now, soon we will have to refer to you as the Durban VW king.......

Thanks guys, the expectation of the Bus and the Split Beetle being ready for George next year is driving me mad,
Ok,...OK.. So maybe I am, but I will give it a good try.

I like this positive attitude to have both at George in Feb!!! All the best with the build and the wiring harnasses.

So its been some time since this here thread has had attention, that is because all other project have taken all my time.
Not to spoil the surprise, there has been some movement on the bus it self, and this I will also reveal at some time soon.
Must say, I like... I Like a lot........

We its been some time, and most of my time has gone into the Beetle and the Bay

Yes there is some work still to do, also sum Rust converter, and final Interior coat'
But it looks better then this..
