The total came in just over R80k. I did not charge any labour as this was a favor to the owner. If I had to charge labour it would probably have to be at least R10k more due to all the specialized machining.
The only parts we used from the old engine:
-Carburetors with air filters and linkage
- Fan housing, alternator, alternator stand and engine tin
Everything else in the engine is new. Casing, crank, rods, cam, gears, pistons, oil pump, barrels, heads, rockers, ign system etc.

Ohh my hat that is nice.. I guess you have to be prepared to pay for such quality.
Too much for my pocket, but then again, I'm not after such performance, just would like a DRY motor.. ahem..

This engine should make around 90kw on the wheels @ 6500rpm. My dad's 1914cc t1 made around 85kw on the wheels which is good enough to pull just over 170km/h at zwartkops
