Thanks everyone

Harry's beetle has also got a oil cooler in the front. I do not think that harry is running dry sump though.

Thanks Andre. Ek kan redelik laat briek daar. Ek dink in die omgewing van 80m kan ek begin briek waar die Datsun al by die 120 begin briek. By draai 5 kry ek 0.9g under braking en 1.18g deur die draai :).

Currently busy prepping my bug for the next race. Whilst doing a bolt/nut check saw the back disc pads need replacing.
Changed them to ferodo platinum's and gave the whole brake system some new brake fluid.

The left rear hub also needed some tlc. The washer behind the hub collapsed, so then it cam loose. Already replaced the washed and hub seal. Just need to tighen the hub nut again then I can do some milage o bed in the new pads.

Hopefully next weekend I can go buy by seat. Looking to buy a fia spec cobra or sabelt seat. After I saw Harry Lombard's seat after his phakisa crash, I realised these formula design seats are no good. His seat actually bent backwards from the impact. That can bugger up your back in no time flat.

My battery cutout switch also requires some tlc. The alternator keeps the car running even after the switch is turned off.

We had a really good race at Kyalami. It was my first race with the new tranny. (Thanks Joe; Volkspares)

As usual I qualified really bad.
In the first race went up to 5th in my class. In the second race went up to 2nd. Got the fastest class E lap time and 2nd overall in my class.

The bug flew. We got 159km/h down the mine shaft. Running in 4th gear 6200rpm :).
