Ok, so gonna try this again...
We are having a social braai, Sunday 29 November at Newlands Forest. The venue is child friendly, so bring the family.

The park does offer braai facilities, but seeing that they are limited, I recommend that you bring your own “portable” braai which can be placed and used where you park.

The park opens at 08:00am and to ensure you get a good spot I would suggest you get there before 10h00.  Entrance is R20 per adult, R10 per child and R20 per vehicle.

What to bring:
-       Cash for entrance to the park.
-       Your goodies for your braai. Each man for himself.

If the interest is enough, we can alo meet at McDonalds N1 city and go in convoy.

It'll be good to hook up somewhere, even i it's just for an afternoon drink at the beach somewhere.. Will keep you updated here.. I know Branden's wanting to do some de-rusting on Betty, but I've also taken two weeks off to actually have a proper December break, so, I'm sure we'll make a plan somewhere Fig.

Just an update on this - the entry fees have increased to R25 per adult, R15 per child and R25 per vehicle, effective 1 November.
The park can also get very busy quite early if the weather is nice and sunny. I would suggest that we get there earlier. If its too early for you to braai, bring your eggs and bacon, for the rest bring the meat.
