CB IDF pattern intake manifolds with injector bungs. There will be four injectors on the intakes and four injectors on the throttle bodies.

The turbo we decided on is a Garrett GT3076R with 0.68 turbine housing. This thing should spool up real quick and flow good for over 7000rpm @ 10psi

Those roller rockers look so nice, Really jealous! Keep the pictures coming, your builds are always great to watch.

The cylinder heads have been cc'd at 66cc. The engine deck height is set at zero with 1.5mm copper rings installed in the cylinder heads. This equates to 8.12:1 compression ratio.

The idea is to boost it around 7psi on race fuel and around 10psi on methanol for track days. I'm hoping for around 300hp at 10psi.

It's amazing the amount of engineering that goes into building an engine like this. Nothing simply bolts on. :)... eg

The Wiseco pistons come with spiral locks which I hate, Jaycee performance sells ally buttons for the wrist pin, but they are machined for minimum weight and does not last for circuit racing. So we had to make up aluminium buttons.

The barrels are made for 84mm stroke, we are at 78,4mm. So the barrels needed to be shortened. The 10mm cylinder head studs are about 30mm too long, shorten studs otherwise they dont clear the rockers and intake manifolds.

The dry sump oil pump does not clear the casing. Modify casing. The small crank pulley for the dry sump does not clear the casing, so mod casing again.

The cylinder cool tin that goes under the barrels are made for 8mm studs, so modify them for 10mm studs.

And so the list goes on and on.

Those ports are big... but now the biggest that CB makes. You should see the comp eliminator heads, they are big.

Here's the throttle bodies and boost boxes

Huge respect! You can clearly see the effort involved in the engine and the more I look the more I spot! Truly awesome. I would love one day to have a motor like this in a bus so that I could qualify Mo as a "bus with attitude"

The CB tapered pushrods have now been shortened to the correct length and installed. Those pauter rockers are just too nice. :) . So easy to adjust and work with.

The 914 might not be super fast, but it should be unique. :D
