Hopefully with the bite of this pressure plate the beetle will lift up the front wheels on hard launching. :)

I can't wait for cars in the park to be over... then I can start stripping my beetle and do the turbo conversion...

It's a fujifilm S3500.... took some pictures and then it just decided not to turn on again. :( Sent it in, now it seems like they lost my camera.

Just in Africa.... :(

An apdate on the car...

I took out the engine on Monday, Stripped it yesterday. Everything still 100% on the inside. The bearings look as if I put them in yesterday :)

The dog box is now also removed to make space for the turbo and intercooler.

As soon as I get my camera back, then I will put up some pics.

I put the bottom end together last night. All shiny like new. :) Only change on the bottom now is the turbo cam. Engle TCS-20 :)

Just waiting now for a set of new mahle 94mm pistons and barrels, then I can do the deck height.

I want to keep the old pistons and barrels for my spare engine. (76 stroker with chevy big end journals, scat c55 cam and those 94mm pistons and barrels :) .)

This weekend it's time to cc the heads and finish polishing the combustion chambers.
