Thanx for the messages.

I spend most of the day sandblasting the rear of the bus. completed the right rear wheel arch, area around gearbox and area around fuel tank. Will do rest next time. Started at 9 finished at 3 then started cleaning and paint so closed garage at 5... Long day of hard labour but I have moved forward and that makes my day worth while

Huge progress, sand blasting really is the best - what equipment, etc,are you using for this, and what media, soda, sand, etc ? Any pics. :hangloose:

Sambas in South Africa are good for only 2 things: showing off and sunburn.

Hi Jolas
I am using a simple machine bought at adendorfs. Cost something like R1500 not sure now. The media is sand and I use very fine sand.
After buying sand at Silverton nut and bolt and take a cooking sift to remove big pieces of sand. I have not had one blockage since using sift.
I sand blast in my driveway so I have a bunch of sheets that I ise to cover up around th area where I am working and then one sheet on ground that catches all the sand that falls. This way I keep 98% of sand in work area. The rest I just sweep up afterwards. Will take pictures if I do it again.

I am not replacing the floor, its still ok but the two wheel arches Left and right are both being replaced, just to much rust and internally a total mess.

hi to all

I have not been updating to many things... just didn't get round to it.
So here is the changes and updates.
Bought a 1600 twin port motor. Just want to get a bit more power up hill, so will keep it standard.
Most of the panels are here now and I am now replacing more than 30 panels on the car.
Cant wait!!!! anymore

I met a very interesting man at cars in the park yesterday. He sold me a little addition for my roof rack.
When I looked inside I though this cooler will never fit 2 cans side by side but it will fit two old style bottles.
