FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a weekend. Firstly, on Friday my son gets himself smacked about in some road rage. He also had his scooter thrown to the ground, resulting in some broken panels and a ripped off exhuast. My wife has just sorted everything out with police reports and doctors reports as to the incident and his minor injuries- black eye and cracked tooth. Can you believe the police station lost the documents in 24 hrs!
But then again you cannot say that for all police as a policeman from the same station was driving directly behind me this morning when I T-Boned a BMW. He took charge of the whole scene and everything went smoothly. This woman decides to pull out of a driveway and cross to the other side of the road when I was a mere 15/20 metres from her. My reaction time was only quick enough to slam on anchors after which I headed straight for her rear door and rear wheel.
Once again my son was involved as we were going to collect one of Chris's new accutitions. We are both OK and with the help of the above mentioned policeman all was sorted out in a jiffy.
Its funny how accidents have changed these days. The first questions asked were - "Do you have medical aid?" To which the other woman driver said she did not so it was a long wait for a government ambulance. There were paramedics and assistants on the scene in minutes and the woman was removed from her car with a neck brace and back board but then was put down on the long grass and had to wait for the government ambo.
My buggy is looking very sorry for itself with a wrecked radiator and frame and one smashed front bonnet. These can be replaced as we all say, but lucky enough my son and I walked away unscathed.
I drove the buggy without water, the 5 or so km's home where she will rest until I decide what to do. (This drive only took place due to the coolness of the weather and the free flowing air around the motor

)
