Weirdest thing you've found in your car?

Post by CTBUG »

Some lucky people on this forum were fortunate enough to be handed over their beetle's in great condition, many of us however bought our aircooled buddies in not so great condition... the usual finds are rust, electrical issues, missing seats and fenders etc... but what's the downright oddest, weirdest thing you found in your bug after you bought it?

I ask... because the day after i bought mine, i gave it a good clean... while cleaning out the boot, where the tyre sits, i found 3 full bankies of old dried out weed!!!

So what's your weirdest find?

I've had a number of 412 Variants - all of them had Lego blocks under the back seat. Under one of the cars' passenger carpet, I found a very neat pair of Italian scissors, which I still use today.

My wierdest find so far was a small pottery pipe, and a 2 very old rizzler blades,.....I also found 2 drunk guys and a chick getting stoned in my bus,....apparently I invited them when I was hammered ass drunk, left to go to the pools and got back a while later wandering who they were and why they were getting blazed in my car!!!

I found an ancient R10 note in my Fleetline when I took the front seat out. It must have been worth a fortune at the time it was lost. It actually rusted in half.

A half cent from the late 60's - found in the driver side heater vent. Kinda cool since we're the original owners of the Square so my Dad must have dropped it in there years ago...

I found keys that dont fit, a jack that cannot lift the bug in any way and a spare wheel that will never ever fit any type of air cooled vw.
